The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of niger seed from Rs. 2,900 to Rs. 3,500 per quintal for crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 600 a quintal or 20.69 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for niger seed.

The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of mustard from Rs. 1,850 to Rs. 2,500 per quintal for marketing season 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 650 a quintal or 35.14 percent over last year’s MSP for mustard.

The Government of India has increased Minimum Support Price (MSP) of jowar or sorgham from Rs. 980 to Rs. 1,500 per quintal for crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 520 a quintal or 53.06 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for jowar.

The Government of India has increased Minimum Support Price (MSP) of dehusked coconut from Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 1,400 per quintal for crop season 2012. This is an increase of Rs. 200 a quintal or 16.67 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for dehusked coconut.
