The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of copra from Rs. 4,525 per quintal to Rs. 5,100 per quintal for calender year 2012. This is an increase of Rs. 575 a quintal or 12.71 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for copra.

The Government of India has increased Minimum Support Price (MSP) of chana or gram from Rs. 2,100 per quintal to Rs. 2,800 per quintal for marketing season 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 700 a quintal or 33.33 percent over last year’s MSP for chana.
The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of barley from Rs. 780 to Rs. 980 per quintal for the marketing season 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 200 a quintal or 25.64 percent over last year’s MSP for barley.
The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of bajra or pearl millet from Rs. 980 to Rs. 1,175 per quintal for the crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 195 a quintal or 19.89 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for bajra.
The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of arhar or tur from Rs. 3,200 to Rs. 3,850 per quintal for the crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 650 a quintal or 20.31 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for arhar or tur.
