The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of arhar or tur from Rs. 3,200 to Rs. 3,850 per quintal for the crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 650 a quintal or 20.31 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for arhar or tur.
