The Government of India has increased Minimum Support Price (MSP) of groundnut in shell from Rs. 2,700 to Rs. 3,700 per quintal for crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 1,000 a quintal or 37.03 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for groundnut.
