The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of mustard from Rs. 1,850 to Rs. 2,500 per quintal for marketing season 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 650 a quintal or 35.14 percent over last year’s MSP for mustard.
