The Government of India has increased Minimum Support Price (MSP) of moong (green gram) from Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 4,400 per quintal for crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 900 a quintal or 25.71 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for moong.
