Pomegranate Vinegar Recipe

Pomegranate vinegar is an aromatic and easy to make vinegar that brings unique flavor to vinaigrettes and marinades.

Ingredients Required:

2 cups mashed pomegranate arils and juice
6 four inch strips orange zest
3 cloves garlic, sliced in half from length
1 tbs. coriander seeds
6 tbs. sugar or honey
3 cups red wine vinegar
A quart-canning jar of a glass container

The Method:
Keep the mashed pomegranate arils and juice in a hygienized quart-canning jar. Put in orange zest, coriander seeds, and garlic. Mix sugar or honey in vinegar. Pour the sugar-vinegar mixture over pomegranate mix. Cover with a tight lid and keep it aside to cool and dark place to impregnate for two weeks. Filter it and pour the liquid in a clean wine bottle. Place the cork taut. Consume as you wish. You can keep it as it is for many months. Always store it in a cool and dark place.
