How to Apply for a Plot in the GMADA Eco City Phase-1 Residential Plots Scheme

For those individuals who wanted to apply for the GMADA residential plots, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority had launched a residential plots scheme in Eco City Phase-1, Mullanpur (New Chandigarh) in Punjab on September 21, 2011.

In the GMADA Eco City plots scheme, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority had offered 740 residential plots (including the reserved categories) to the residents of Punjab and Chandigarh.

The last date for submission of application forms for the GMADA Eco City plots scheme was on Friday, October 21, 2011.

GMADA Residential Plots at Eco City Phase-1, New Chandigarh: How to Apply for the Allotment

The application forms and brochures of the GMADA Eco City residential plots scheme were available in the authorized branches of twelve banks in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Please note that a person can apply in current GMADA Eco City scheme only once (in one category and one size only). In case a person makes more than one application, GMADA will reject all the applications of that person.

A husband, his wife, and their children above 18 years can apply separately. Only one plot will be allotted to either husband or wife. Children above 18 years will be considered as independent individuals for the plot allotment.

While preparing the list of the eligible applicants, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority will consider only those applications, which are accompanied with the specified earnest money only in the form of a demand draft drawn in favor of the Estate Officer, GMADA and payable at Mohali.
