The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) had launched a built-up multistoried residential flats scheme in different localities of Delhi on November 25, 2010.
The last date for submission of application forms for the DDA Housing Scheme 2010 was December 24, 2010. The draw of lots for the Delhi Development Authority’s DDA Housing Scheme 2010 was held on April 18, 2011.
In DDA Housing Scheme 2010, the Delhi Development Authority offered one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom houses. Cost of the houses in DDA’s 2010 housing scheme was Rs. 900,000 to Rs 11,200,000. The Delhi Development Authority had calculated the construction cost of these built-up houses at the rate of Rs. 1,536 to Rs. 6,069 per square feet.

In DDA Housing Scheme 2010, the Delhi Development Authority had on the offer 15,574 freehold HIG, MIG, LIG, and EWS multistoried residential flats in Delhi’s Bindapur, Chilla, Dwarka, Jahangirpuri, Jasola, Kalyan Vihar, Kondli Gharoli, Loknayak Puram, Molar Band, Motia Khan, Mukherjee Nagar, Narela, Nasir Pur (Dwarka), Pitampura, Rohini, Sarita Vihar, Shivaji Enclave, Trilokpuri, Vasant Kunj, and Zafrabad areas.
Details of the Initial Deposit (Earnest Money) Required
For HIG, MIG, and LIG flats, an applicant had to pay an earnest money (initial deposit) of Rs. 150,000 with the application form.
For EWS (Economically-Weaker Section) flats, the Delhi Development Authority had asked the applicants to shell out initial deposit (earnest money) of Rs. 50,000 with the application form. The price of 663 Janta one-room flats located in areas like Narela, Trilokpuri and Shivaji Enclave was Rs. 300,000 to Rs. 600,000.
