How to Apply for a Flat in the DDA Housing Scheme 2010

1. The applicant applying for a residential flat under DDA Housing Scheme 2010 shall have to deposit the Registration Money or Earnest Money Deposit of Rs. 150,000 for a multistory flat or Rs, 50,000 for a Janta Flat or One-Room Tenements Flats (ORT). As the case may, the Registration Money or Earnest Money Deposit is to be paid by a Single Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft of any bank drawn in favour of DDA Housing payable at Delhi or New Delhi.

2. Applicants who are using downloaded form will need to deposit a separate Demand Draft or Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 105 (including Rs. 5 as Value Added Tax) in addition to the amount payable as mentioned in Terms 1 above.

3. The Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft has to be presented along with the DDA application form completed in all respects on the prescribed form at one of the prescribed bank branches on banks working days.

4. You can also send the duly filled up application by registered post addressed to the Branch Managers of Nodal Bank Branches 15 days before the last date of closure of the scheme. The envelope should be clearly marked “Application under DDA Housing Scheme 2010”.

5. The Delhi Development Authority will not accept any payment by Cheque, or Multiple Bankers’ Cheque or Multiple Demand Drafts with an application form.

6. The last date for applying in the DDA Housing Scheme 2010 is December 24, 2010. The Delhi Development Authority will not accept the application forms after date of closure. In case it is found at any stage that the issue date of payment instrument is after the closure of the DDA Housing Scheme 2010, the Delhi Development Authority will summarily reject such applications and the applicant would be solely responsible for this. The Delhi Development Authority will not entertain any such application(s) in the draw of lots.

7. The applicant may give one or more preferences of his or her choice by writing locality codes, given in the DDA Application Form, in appropriate box and put a cross (x) against the preferences not exercised. It is presumed that applicant has seen the locality before giving his or her preference. If any box is left blank or preferences are not given in prescribed locality codes, the application form would be considered incomplete and would be rejected. An applicant cannot exercise a preference for sector or pocket or floor. Delhi Development Authority will not entertain any request for change of sector, pocket, or floor.

8. The applicant must sign the DDA application form himself or herself only. The applicant should not make any cutting, erasing or overwriting in the DDA application form. In case a person desires to make changes, it is advised to obtain and fill up a fresh DDA application form.

9. The Delhi Development Authority will not consider any conditional application form from an applicant. Incomplete application forms shall be rejected summarily without conveying any reason to the applicant.

10. Persons who are holding a registration with DDA under any of its other schemes can also apply under this scheme. However, they have to make payment of Registration Amount of the scheme in full. They should separately make a written request for withdrawal of Registration Deposit of the earlier scheme once they are successful in this scheme.
