Government of India – Minimum Support Price of Paddy

The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of paddy from Rs. 1,080 per quintal to Rs. 1,250 per quintal for crop year 2012-2013. This is an increase of Rs. 170 a quintal or 15.74 percent over last year’s MSP fixed for paddy.
