The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) had launched a 450 freehold residential plots scheme in Sector-5, Rohtak in Haryana.
Registration or subscription for the HUDA Rohtak residential plots scheme was open for the eligible applicants from January 06, 2012 to March 27, 2012.

Several public and private sector banks were financing the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for the Haryana Urban Development Authority’s freehold residential plots scheme in Sector-5, Rohtak (Haryana) to the Indian citizens who wanted to apply for the HUDA plots.
Currently, the different banks are charging 10 to 12 percent per annum as the tentative rate of interest for the HUDA Rohtak residential plots in the Earnest Money Deposit Scheme. In the Earnest Money Deposit Scheme, the banks offer total or 100% finance of the earnest money required to be deposited with the application form.

For the Earnest Money Deposit Scheme, the banks were entertaining only those applicants, who fulfill all the terms and conditions that Haryana Urban Development Authority has framed for the HUDA Rohtak plots scheme.
