Reservation for Handicapped Persons in YEIDA Yamunotri Housing Scheme BHS-04/2014

Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh, India), October 31, 2015

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) had launched a multistoried residential flats scheme (YEIDA Scheme Code BHS-04/2014) in Sector-22A Yamuna Expressway (District Gautam Budh Nagar) in Uttar Pradesh on October 23, 2014.

In the YEIDA Yamunotri Housing Scheme BHS-04/2014, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority was offering total 2862 residential flats for allotment to the various categories of applicants.

Allotment of a residential flat in the YEIDA Yamunotri Housing Scheme BHS-04/2014 shall be governed by the provisions contained in the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Area Development Act, 1976 (U.P. Act No. 6 of 1976).

Yamuna Expressway Yamunotri Housing Scheme BHS-04/2014: Handicapped Persons Reservation

As per Uttar Pradesh Government’s current reservation policy, 3.00% of the total number of residential flats are reserved for the Handicapped Persons in the YEIDA Yamunotri Housing Scheme BHS-04/2014.

Keeping in view the provision under Section 43 of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995 and a decision taken in 49th Board Meeting of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority held on February 12, 2014, a 3% horizontal reservation (that is 86 out of 2862 flats) shall be kept for Handicapped Persons in General Category, Functional Institutional Units, and Farmers Category.

Accordingly, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority had reserved 86 flats for the Handicapped Persons in the YEIDA Yamunotri Housing Scheme BHS-04/2014.

The Relevant Documents for the Handicapped Persons Category Applicants

The Handicapped Persons Category applicants will need to submit their application forms with the relevant documents as per the Terms and Conditions mentioned in the scheme brochure.

Applicants of the Handicapped Persons Category shall have to enclose an attested copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority; otherwise, he or she shall not be eligible to get the benefit of reservation.

The Applicable Eligibility Terms and Conditions for the Handicapped Persons

1. The applicant should be competent to contract and have attained the age of majority.

2. In case, a handicapped person has already been allotted a residential plot, flat, or a built-up house in his or her name or to his or her spouse or dependent children, in any of the earlier residential schemes of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, he or she shall not be eligible for reservation under Handicapped Persons Category in this scheme.

3. If, on verification or at any stage it is found that there is a violation of any of the above-mentioned conditions, then the application will be rejected and the registration money will be refunded without any interest.

4. If the total applications received in the Handicapped Persons Category are less than the total 86 multistory flats reserved in this category, the remaining multistoried residential flats will be transferred to General Category at the time of lottery draw of lots.

Last Date for Submitting the Application Forms for the Handicapped Persons Category Applicants

Saturday, January 31, 2015 was the last date for submission of application forms for the eligible handicapped persons category applicants for the YEIDA Yamunotri Housing Scheme BHS-04/2014.
