These signals process body functions within your brain and transmit to other body parts for coordinated movements. Signals pass through synapses. During seizures, electrical activity and neurotransmitter levels are altered. These electrical signals then repeat themselves in a three-second pattern. Body impulses get confused and halt abruptly. This is absence seizure.</p>

<p>Epileptic children often reflect most symptoms of absence seizures. Rather, they keep staring into space frequently. Behavioral problems could be an indicator of absence seizure in your child.
