margin-top:px; margin-bottom:px; margin-left:px; margin-right:px;float:none;\" class=\"afw afw-ga afw_ad afwadid-8601  \">\r\n                                                                <script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"background:none;display:inline-block;width:300px;height:600px\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7798450846111448\" data-ad-slot=\"6557536103\">\r\n                                                                <\/ins>\r\n                                                                <script>\r\n                                                                        (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n                                                                <\/script>\r\n                                                                \r\n                                                        <\/div>\n<p><strong>Indian Government Ups Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Urad to Rs. 4,300 Per 100 Kgs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Government of India has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of urad (black gram) of Fair Average Quality (FAQ) from Rs. 3,300 per quintal (100 Kilograms) to Rs. 4,300 per quintal for the crop year 2012-2013 and marketing season 2013-2014.<\/p>\n<p>This is an increase of Rs. 1,000 a quintal or 30.30 percent over last year\u2019s Minimum Support Price fixed for urad.<\/p>\n<p>The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) took this decision to hike the MSP of urad in its meeting held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, the Government of India determines the Minimum Support Price of urad based on the recommendations of the Commission for Agricultural Cost and Prices (CACP).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Historical Minimum Support Prices of Urad (Black Gram) in India<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Crop Year Minimum Support Price (Per 100 Kgs)<br \/>\n2012-2013 Rs. 4,300<br \/>\n2011-2012 Rs. 3,300<br \/>\n2010-2011 Rs. 2,900<br \/>\n2009-2010 Rs. 2,520<br \/>\n2008-2009 Rs. 2,520<br \/>\n2007-2008 Rs. 1,740 (Includes a Central Bonus of Rs. 40)<br \/>\n2006-2007 Rs. 1,520<br \/>\n2005-2006 Rs. 1,520<br \/>\n2004-2005 Rs. 1,410<br \/>\n2003-2004 Rs. 1,370<br \/>\n2002-2003 Rs. 1,330<br \/>\n2001-2002 Rs. 1,320<br \/>\n2000-2001 Rs. 1,200<br \/>\n1999-2000 Rs. 1,105<br \/>\n1998-1999 Rs. 960<br \/>\n1997-1998 Rs. 900<br \/>\n1996-1997 Rs. 840<br \/>\n1995-1996 Rs. 800<br \/>\n1994-1995 Rs. 760<br \/>\n1993-1994 Rs. 700<br \/>\n1992-1993 Rs. 640<\/p>\n<p>Note: In 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, an additional incentive (bonus) of Rs. 500 per quintal for urad sold to the Government Procurement Agencies was paid to the farmers during the harvest and arrival period of two months.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theteamwork.com\/articles\/2016-2071-minimum-support-prices-agricultural-commodities-india.html\"><strong>Minimum Support Prices of Agricultural Commodities in India<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nGovernment of India &#8211;
