Eligibility Conditions for Allotment of HUDA Freehold Residential Plots to the War Widows and Disabled Soldiers (WWBIS) Category

As per Haryana Government’s current reservation policy for the War Widows and Disabled Soldiers (WWBIS, the eligibility conditions for the allotment of Haryana Urban Development Authority’s freehold residential plots are:

1. 3% of the total number plots in 6 Marla, and 4 Marla are reserved for the War Widows and Disabled Soldiers (WWBIS.

2. In case the plots reserved for War Widows and Disabled Soldiers remain surplus, the same shall be diverted to the quota of Defence Personnel and Ex-Servicemen (SEEXS).

3. Only those applicants, in the War Widows and Disabled Soldiers (WWBIS) category, are eligible to apply who –

(a) Do not own a residential plot or house in any Urban Estate in Haryana in his or her name or in his or her spouse’s name or in the name of any of his or her dependent family member. An affidavit in this effect, attested by an Executive Magistrate 1st Class or Notary Public, shall be furnished at the time of issuance of allotment letter.

4. The applicant under War Widows and Disabled Soldiers (WWBIS) category must belong to Haryana state.

(a) War Widows and Disabled Soldiers (WWBIS) are required to furnish a certificate in this effect issued by the Zila Sainik Board of the concerned District along with the application.

(b) The War Widows and Disabled Soldiers (WWBIS) who have already applied to Zila Sainik Board/Sub-area Headquarter concerned are required to apply again on the prescribed form along with the earnest money. The application under this category will be entertained through Zila Sainik Boards.

5. An applicant under War Widows and Disabled Soldiers category is entitled to avail the benefit of allotment only once in his or her lifetime in any of the Urban Estates in Haryana.
